Today, for example, I'm feeling especially thankful for the Writing Ourselves Whole blog. Of course, I have to admit that this isn't purely a blogger connection -- I know Writing Ourselves Whole facilitator Jen Cross personally, having taken several of her incredible workshops, and I work with her to support her office duties. Still, I feel like her blog deserves a special shout-out here, especially since hers was one I was reading regularly and drawing inspiration from before I started my own.
Writing Ourselves Whole workshops are transformative writing workshops for survivors of trauma and other struggles. On the blog, Jen bravely shares everything from survival stories to writing prompts to the inspiration that keeps her moving each day. You can expect powerful words with each new post. I'd recommend this blog especially for writers and survivors of violence, though you don't have to be either of those to enjoy her blog. She also shares workshop opportunities throughout the Bay Area and calls for submissions for erotic writers and other calls she hears about.
So, not that I don't love having you visit my own blog, but when you're finished here, head on over to support my friend at Writing Ourselves Whole. She'll appreciate your presence!
